Christmas Time Again???

Christmas is hear already?  It seems that it was just a few months ago since last Christmas.  I haven’t even started shopping yet!  We put up our Christmas tree a week ago, but it still felt too early to even do that.  I don’t want to sound like a scrooge or anything, but it just don’t feel like Christmas.

My son Jaden is all geared up and ready for Santa to come popping through our “non-existing” chimney and filling the void under the tree with presents!  Jaden is 5 years old now, which is the “perfect age” for Santa Claus, the magic of Christmas, and the sugar plums dancing around in his head.  Maybe with all of that holiday glee that surrounds Jaden, some of it will rub off on me!!!

As Christmas Eve gets closer it’s funny how excited small children become.  Jaden asks several time a day if he’s being good, and if he does something “bad” he says “Did Santa Claus see me?”  My son is a little more than obsessed by Santa, and even has 4 of the same animated singing Santa dolls that he lines up and plays all at the same time like his own private choir!  Jaden even takes it a step further by gathering all of his animated singing dolls, which is roughly around 10, and puts them in a few rows, and then plays them all at the same time.

Thinking back to when I was a kid, I remember how excited I got when Christmas was just around the corner.  I even remember the “countdown chain” made out of construction paper that I made in school that after you tear a link of chain off every day lets you know when it Christmas.  Incidentally, I sat down with Jaden and taught him how to make that “Countdown to Christmas” chain.  He has his own chain hanging in the living room!  Jaden had the idea in his head that if he tore off several links of chain that he could make Christmas come even faster!!!

Well, to all who read this blog entry, have a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

About WilliamSipe

I moved to Baltimore in 1994 to continue my printing career, and to seek out better opportunities. While picking up valuable experience in two different printing companies, I began thinking of starting my own business. My son was born on July 31, 2004, and is a very special child that means the world to me. After a near-fatal accident that left me disabled in 2004 and unable to return to my printing job, I decided to fall back on my passion for photography and graphic design and work for myself. This is when Pro-PhotoShots was born. Deciding to make photo gifts such as t-shirts, mouse pads, tote bags, sportspacks just to name a few, I bought the necessary equipment and went to work. Using my industrial grade quality materials and equipment and my experience in both photography and graphic design, I went public with my website ( offering my services to the world! It's been a great experience, and I hope we are still going strong many years from now.
